The CanWISP Conference is Canada’s leading event for independent and regional internet service providers, bringing together senior executives, founders, engineers, vendors, and policymakers from across the broadband ecosystem.
The conference kicks off on Monday with a dedicated Trade Show day, giving attendees the opportunity to connect directly with vendors, explore new technologies, and have in-depth conversations with solution providers supporting Canada’s broadband infrastructure.
On Monday evening, CanWISP members are invited to our Members Dinner, proudly sponsored by MBSIWAV and Tarana. This evening is one of the highlights of the conference, offering a relaxed setting to reconnect with peers, build relationships, and continue conversations started on the trade show floor.
Following the opening day, the conference continues with thought-provoking panels, technical sessions, and policy discussions focused on the real-world challenges and opportunities facing independent ISPs, from network evolution and funding to regulation, spectrum, and emerging technologies.
Whether you’re attending to learn, network, or do business, the CanWISP Conference offers a focused, practical, and community-driven experience designed specifically for Canada’s independent broadband providers.

CanWISP recognizes that some Internet Service Providers and network operators face extraordinary travel costs due to operating in remote or hard-to-access regions. To help ensure broad and equitable participation, CanWISP may offer a complimentary full conference pass to eligible ISP/operators where travel costs present a significant barrier to attendance.
This program is intended to support operators, Indigenous and community-based networks serving remote communities.
